Hi everyone,
This week was really easy. I felt this for many reasons some of which are personal. This week we read about learner autonomy which I consider one of the most important objectives of teaching. How to make your student able to teach himself is a great point which at first will help you a lot in your work & will make you feel that you taught him how to fish instead of giving him just one fish for the day. This feeling is perfect. We used this week the wallwisher/padlet I did not like it. I can not deny that it was easy to use but it was not organised at all. Concerning the project I am working hard on it. Best of luck to all of you.
Yours,
Joseph.

Hi Joseph,
ReplyDeleteI like your concept "you taught him how to fish instead of giving him just one fish for the day"
Nice quote!

Dear Joseph,
ReplyDeleteI share your enthusiasm about autonomous learning. You are right, autonomous learning helps us as it helps our students. I'm sure you are as busy as all of us are writing our drafts for our final project. I wish you the best Joseph.
Best regards,
Sonia
Hi Joseph!
ReplyDeleteI like the quiote too!
For me autonomy is like an ally, and we need it! Doing all the work by ourselves will be very hard!
I think that the different tools we have been knowing and using in this course can be used in very different situations. I agree with you that Padlet could be kind of "messy", but we can find some good usage, don't you think?
