I am very happy to tell you about my project. I have a small class of adults who study a course of general English at level 3. They have a problem in listening. They can not comprehend what they are listening to very well. I felt that using technology may help a lot in this problem & I decided to use this website to solve the problem : http://www.esl-lab.com/. This week I have started giving them tasks from this website & I see that they liked it a lot. I wish it could help us in our problem. This week was a tough one but thanks to GOD I have done what is required.

ReplyDeleteIt’s good to know that you have completed your entire task on time in spite of your limited time. Your idea of teaching your students with http://www.esl-lab.com/. is appreciable. I believe this website help inculcate in children the importance of authentic material. I also like this site because there are so many options to listen and test listening. For example: IELTS Listening, Free English Level Test, 20 minutes ESL Vocabulary, Language learning and life tip, long conversation with real video and many more. I think ‘General Listening Quizzes’ will be more helpful for you because there are three level options: easy, medium and difficult, and your students after testing their skill in easy level can switch to medium and difficult level. It’s also interesting in the sense that students can be in access to real and short communication and can get instant feedback.
